Week 58 - Salem...Halloween and Witches
Hey Everybody!!
I hope that all of you had a great week! It is starting to get a little bit more chilly as the days get shorter out here! There have been some great things that have happened this week! I guess one of the not as great things was that we didn't have a baptism on Saturday. Loretta just had to push it back until Nov 3rd because her husband (who is a recent convert) got admitted to the hospital and will take some time to recover.
We were able to have an awesome exchange this week! I was able to go down into East Boston (Pretty much boston, but on the other side of the Charles River), which is just in our mission!And I was able to go with Elder Solomon! I don't know if any of you remember back to my first area I went on some exchanges with Elder Solomon, and it was super fun to go and reminisce and have a blast! We were able to contact some really cool people, and we had one of the most powerful street lessons that I have had before! I will send some pics of that exchange.
One cool story and miracle that we were able to see this week was in Salem. So it has been getting pretty crazy/fun over in Salem recently because... well ya know... Halloween and witches go together! But we have people that we are teaching over there and it is still a really good area to find people so we keep going! This time we were following up with somebody that we had found before and went and tried to find his house. He said he was apt #2 in the building. Well turns out this small house with two floors has 3 apartments in it....and they are all named #2...! So we just knocked on the top one and this guy named Nathan opened the door. Not the guy that we were looking for, but we got talking with him and he was so cool! He accepted an invitation to be baptized on the doorstep, and we are going to go and see him tomorrow!
Well, I just want each of you to know that I truly do love this gospel and I love being a missionay. I hope that you each can find peace and joy in the only place where it is found, the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love you all and I hope you all have a great week!

1-2: We had a challenge to find a black cat on Tuesday and a fake one is all Elder Solomon and I could find, but the next day Elder Veroneau and I found a real one!
