Elder Veroneau

Week 57 - One Bloody Week

Hey Everybody!

I hope and pray that you all had a great week! This week blew by and I honestly can't remember too much of what happened! I guess one major thing that happened was that I got a new companion! His name is Elder Veroneau. That was exciting because on Thursday we were able to drive up to Manchester for transfers and I got to see a bunch of missionaries!

The reason for the subject of the email is becasue we helped with a blood drive that the ward was doing and I was able to give blood for the first time!

Well there are always miracles in our works as missionaries, so if I shared all of them you would be reading for a while! But I will share one cool miracle with y'all. So we were walking around in Salem going to an appointment. Walking down the street we saw this guy working on his car. So I (not know a whole ton about cars) go and start a conversation about just that, cars. We were able to talk with him a little bit and then share a passage out of the Book of Mormon, Alma 14, about why bad things happen to good people. He really opened up and talked about some of the things he was struggling with. We were able to testify about some of the points of the gospel and we are going to be able to go back and teach him and his family. It was a great experience. Not the biggest miracle I have seen, but I know God works miracles in each and every one of our lives, even if they are small and may seem insignificant. So look for those miracles in your life, because I know they are there.

I guess the last item of business is that Loretta is getting baptized on Saturday! I am so excited for her and she is definitely so ready to be baptized!

I love you all and I hope you each have a great week!
