Week 54 - Feeling Like Fall
Hello Everybody!
I hope that each one of you had a great week! I don't know about anywhere else, but it is starting to feel like fall out here! It is so crazy to me that it is already getting cold again! I guess that's New England though!
I had a really good week this week. We started it off with an awesome Zone Conference. We talked a lot about repentance. It was really cool to learn how to teach repentance better and be able to help people change. That really is just what repentance is, changing towards Christ. It is amazing to be out here on a mission and being able to see people repent and change. My testimony of the Savior and of repentance has grown so much in the last year. And it is awesome be repentance leads to a whole bunch of good things including blessings!
As far as the people that we are teaching goes, we still have Patricia who is going to get baptized. She was scheduled to be baptized this coming Saturday, but there has been some confusion and a really long story. Long story short though, she may get baptized this week, or she may get baptized in 2 weeks. We will see though! Then the other person we are teaching, Loretta, is still on for baptism on the 13th of Oct! Besides those two people, we have just been trying to find some more people to teach. It was crazy because most of the week people just weren't having it, but we just kept at it. Then one of the mornings we were out it felt like every single person wanted to talk to us! It was amazing to see how the Lord works. We go through the bad, but there is always still so much good!
