Hey Everybody!
I hope that you all have had a great week and a great Labor Day weekend! I promise that my normal P-Day is still Monday, but this week it was Tuesday again becasue we wanted to be out working on the holiday! Holidays are great times to find people to teach the gospel to! For the day we went and helped somebody move into the ward, had a ward picnic on an island beach place (too bad we can't swim), and then we went out finding for the rest of the day! The day was still great, but it was a little bit less great because it was 98 degrees and very humid. It's okay though, preaching the gospel is the best, even if I almost melted!
Wednesday this past week was just as hot as Monday, but we were able to teach a really good lesson on Wednesday! It was with this guy named DJ. He is just such a good guy. He loved the message that we shared. The best part was when we were done we asked him if he knew anyone else that would be interested and he started listing off all of these people that he was going to share the gospel with and invite to come and learn from us! It was so cool!!
For as great as this week was, it came with its humbling moments as well. Two different days this week were night and day difference from each other. One of them we were no seeking to follow the spirit as much and were a little bit down to start. The other one we went out with sincere prayer and with a grand brightenss of hope. I know that it is our attitude that can change who we are. Our circumstances may change around us, but come what may, if we choose to be optimistic and follow the spirit we can and will be happy.
I love you all and I hope you all have a great week!
