Week 50 - Waptism!!
Hey Everybody!
I hope that ya'll had a great week this week! This week was a good one for me! I am emailing on Tuesday this week because it is once again transfer time! Good news though! I am staying in Lynnfield being district leader and training Elder White this transfer! So nothing changed and I am excited about it! There is so much work here (and everywhere really) to do!!
This last Saturday we had a waptism!! That is a wedding and baptism in the same day for the same people! It was such a wonderful day! Everything was just all great! There were a ton of people there, the water was cold, the font water didn't fill fast enough so it was shallow, we found a dead squirrel in the building when we went to fill up the font, none of the sound system or speakers were working, we were barely able to get somebody we are teaching a ride there, everyone showed up late so we started 30 min late, and it was just so awesome!!!!! Such a memorable experience! Gary's soon to be son-in-law baptized him and then I was able to confirm him a member of the church and give the gift of the Holy Ghost. It was such a great spiritual experience. This is what the gospel of Jesus Christ does, is it brings families together. I am so grateful for the role of the family in our Lord's plan.
Sorry I am running out of time, but I was able to have even more awesome and spiritual experiences this week with the people that we are teaching. I have learned and am learning so much out here serving the people of New England as well as my Lord.
