Hello Family and Friends!
It has been a great week here in Massachusetts doing the Lord's great work! So I guess one of the exciting things that happened this week was our zone conference. This was a particularly memorable one because of the stuff that we talked about. Probably all of you know that my mission uses Facebook, and that has been since like almost a year ago. But it is a little trickier than you think to try and do missionary work with it, but a group of people in the mission have been working really hard to figure it out, and this zone conference we got trained on it, and it was really good! I know that the Lord can and is hastening His work. We also talked about how we are going to start using Family History more! Just kind of on a side note, this week I have been thinking a lot about his hastening, and I have come to feel and to realize that he can only hasten his work as much as we are ready for. If the ward or the missionaries are not prepared to receive new members, or returning members, then the Lord won't let it happen. But I know that as we prepare ourselves and work our hardest to be able to receive people in the gospel, then the Lord WILL provide miracles galore!
So for the people that we are teaching, Gary is doing really well. He passed his baptismal Interview on Friday, so it looks like I will be having my first baptism on the 25th!!!! I am so excited for him. We are helping them with the baptism as well as the wedding that they are going to be having right after. So more to come on that!
Another really cool miracle was with this family from Uganda. The Mom is a member but her three daughter (all in their 20s-30s) are not members. I won't go into details into the situation, but they went through a really tough experience, and it has really softened their hearts. Even to the point that last week at church one of the daughters said to some members that she was getting baptized! Without even talking to us about it! So we are going to be teaching them this evening!
That is about it from me this week! I turn 19 this week, so that is also really crazy and I will be hitting my year mark here shortly! Email me and I would love to hear how any of ya'll are doing! I love you all and I hope that you have a fantastic week!
