I hope you all had a good week. This week was a pretty fun and crazy one here in Massachusetts! So I will tell you a little bit about my new trainee, Elder White! He is a really cool guy! He has 10 siblings and he is from Gilbert, AZ! We went and picked him up in Manchester, NH on Thursday and he has been with us ever since! That was one of the really big and exciting things that we did this week. I will share one other exciting thing we did and then a miracle or two!
So the other exciting thing we did was that we did another round of the Book of Mormon Experience. This time we did it at Revere Beach. There was this really big sand castle building contest and there were just so many people! So that was on Saturday, and it was just a blast! I will send a couple of pictures of the event. I bet you could find better pics of the sandcastles online if you wanted to see them. We were able to get a ton of people to read out of the Book of Mormon, though, so that was way awesome!
One miracle this week was earlier in the week we were riding our bikes and we passed this street and we thought that we should go back there sometime. So after we went and saw a few people, we went back to that street. We weren't really sure why we were there, so we just decided to start knocking doors. We were about to start, but then we saw this lady way down the street, so we started to run to go talk to her. She was too far away so we lost her. We looked to our left and saw an open door so we went and knocked on it. This lady opened the door and after talking to her for a bit we found out that she is of a faith that doesn't believe in Jesus Christ and on Sunday she had been praying to God to find out how to worship Jesus Christ, and then three days later, we came knocking on her door! It was way amazing and she accepted to read and pray about the Book of Mormon, and be baptized when she gets an answer!
So the next miracle was right after we met the last lady. We were walking back to our bikes and this big black door just stood out to us so we decided to try it. It was a big apartment complex, so we just had to ring some doorbells to see if we could get let in. Nothing. so we stuck a card in the door and left, not even thinking about it. Then, four hours later, when we are eating we get a refferal text from that same house that we had just rang the door bell, saying that they had seen a card and wanted to know more!!!
That is it from me this week, and I hope that you all have a great week and have a chance to share the gospel in some way!
