Week 30 - Happy Eastah!

Hey Everyone!
I hope that you all had a wonderful Conference weekend, as well as a great holy week and Easter! For the title of the email, I guess I better explain the Maine accent. Everything that has an 'a' at the end, now ends in an 'ar', so idea turns into idear. Then everything with an 'ar' sound on the end turns into just an 'a' or an 'ah' ish sound haha.

I loved every bit of conference this past weekend! I hope that all of you had a chance to watch it. There were so many great things said! I am grateful to have the inspiration and direction from a chosen prophet of the Lord! I have had the spirit testify to me multiple times through the past couple of days of the divine calling of President Nelson.

I was able to watch most of all of the sessions of conference live and we even had some investigators come! One of the stories of getting an investigator to the Saturday Afternoon Session was interesting. So between session we had gone over to a members house for lunch, and the member lived like 20 minutes away from the church. 30 minutes before the session was to start another member called us and asked us if we could come and help him move a couch before the session started. He really needed the help and we had a few minutes to spare so we agreed to assist. We also were going to be trying to get an investigator, Justin, to conference and he needed a ride, so this member said he could give him a ride after we helped him. Long story short, moving the couch was difficult, Justin wasn't finished ironing his shirt, Justin had convinced his other friend to give him a ride, and we took a couple wrong turns on the way to the church. We got to the church 40 minutes late, but we made it haha!! Justin loved conference  though and he had gotten his non-member friend that gave him a ride to stay for it!

For the first part of the week, we had an unusual large amount of lessons, which was awesome! The investigators are progressing slowly but we keep working, and I know that the Lord can work miracles in people!

I just want to testify to all of you that I know my Redeemer lives! What joy this sweet sentence gives! I know that because Christ died and rose again, then we will all live again! I love you all and I hope that you all have a great week!

1. A few of us missionaries got to talk with Elder & Sister Waterbury. They are the mental health counselors for a lot of the mission.
2. Sister Sweat and I. She is from Grantsville, so we had to get a picture and send it home.
3. We did an Easter forgiveness booth on Good Friday.
