Week 9 - Deep Clean Halloween

Hey everybody!

Halloween is not the same as a missionary as you can tell by the title of this email! So on Tuesday we had to be in our apartments at 6:00 sharp, No Exception! We then cleaned for the next 3 hours! One of our main projects was that we cleaned out one of our closets that was so full of stuff that has been there and not moved for a long time. We also have a basement that is only accessible from a door outside and Elder B and I decided we wanted to check it out. We opened it and there were at least 20 spiders right there and some Really big ones too! So we were just like NOPE, and we walked right out of there. So that was what my Halloween was like!

Something else exciting this week is that we went on exchanges in Exeter. I was on exchanges with Elder Ferrell and Elder Taylor. Elder Taylor is a new missionary that was in my flight group and Elder Ferrell is just about to start his last transfer in the mission. Also, Elder Ferrell was trained by Elder Tyrell Pemberton from Blanding! So that was cool to talk to him about that if you know who I am talking about. During the exchange we made a video and put it on Facebook. So if you saw the video of the elders talking about the Plan of Salvation that I shared, just know that I wrote a lot of the script for that :) haha yep I am a contributor!

Friday was National Sandwich day! Which is already a reason to celebrate, but an even better reason to celebrate is that Elder B (My trainer and also my district leader) bought the whole district Subway foot longs!

For the missionary work in Rochester/Somersworth area, it has been really rough. We almost had to drop our last investigator. A lot of people have dropped us in the last week or two and the rest just don't respond to us. But just because we have like no teaching pool that means that we are able to fill it will a lot of cool new people!

And the last exciting thing this week is that I finished my first transfer! Woohoo! That transfer went by really fast! Well guess where I am going now.... nowhere! haha I actually get to stay with Elder B for at least one more transfer in this area! A lot of people are changing around in the Zone and in the District by my companionship is staying the same!

Well everybody, I just want you to know how powerful prayer is and how the power of prayer can help in conversion. This does not just mean that if you are a member already then you don't need the power of conversion. As we access the power of prayer we can always continue to be converted more and more to Christ. We can all strive to be better, and prayer is one of the most powerful tools to do so!!

I love you all and I hope you have a great week!

PHOTOS:
1. The sunset in Exeter was pretty awesome.
2. Elder B and Elder Collins went around finding with a door that Elder B and I made! You will probably see a picture of me with it sometime, but not this week. I might explain it more in a later email, maybe not, we'll see haha
3. Picture of my very first district!
4. Elder Greene isn't actually taller than me, he was cheating and was on his tip toes.
