I feel like this week was one of those weeks where the days are months and the months are days haha.
We had a great week filled with miracles and learning experiences.
We had interviews with the mission president, and I really have respect for him, coming out during this difficult time. There are so many changes every day, and he has to adapt to them. So he has a huge responsibility. The thing that I love about him is that he is so understanding, and personally cares about us individually. He really is a great and inspiring example of Christ like service.
Our Facebook missionary work is really starting to pick up, we were able to start teaching 4 new people and it looks like the numbers are rising exponentially! I have 3 people in the Philippines I am teaching in Tagalog, and others around the world. It has been interesting to see that as we take these challenging times and make the best of them we are able to find so many blessings, and have so much success. We simply have to open our minds to new ideas and not set mental limitations.
There is an unexplainable feeling when sharing the gospel, that brings so much happiness to my life, and to the lives of the members who join in this great missionary work. Even though it is over social media, it is amazing to see how strong the Spirit can be, as we testify of Jesus Christ.
I think everyone in the California Riverside Mission is beginning to find out how great missionaries are at doing weed removal for free!! We have gotten many service opportunities this week, almost all of which has been weed removal. I like getting out in the sun and breaking a sweat, and letting off some steam, it is a nice change of scenery from our apartment walls haha.
"When ye are in the service of your fellow men, ye are only in the service of your God."
In this crazy world, everyone would appreciate an act of kindness, no matter how small it is. So being able to devote myself to serving others, and the Lord for these two years is such a wonderful blessing for me.
Everyone watch for ways to bless someone this week, and see how much happier you feel!!! Stay Safe!!!!!
