¡Hola! Let's just get the bad parts out of the way so we can get to the good stuff. So after I sent last weeks email, I left the computer lab and within 10 seconds I had two birds in the tree above me, well... defecate on my brand new shirt. I was moving so the probability of that happening was super rare, anyway I sprinted back to the dorm to clean up so it wasn't too bad, but stacked on top of everything else that happened made it seem like the worst part of the day. The other terrible thing that happened occurred yesterday when I was playing basketball. What do you think is going to happen when a big man breaks the ankles of his defender and drives to the basket? Correct, everyone switches on me. Guess what happens when four people switch onto you from your sides because they are too slow? Correct again, I step on someone's foot and roll my ankle. It is healing up, but is really annoying and painful.
I went to the Temple today and it was amazing!!! I recommend you look up the México City Temple so that you can feel 1/10 of what I felt when I saw it. We all got to do a session, yes, in Spanish, and we get to go again next Wednesday!
In terms of food, we finally had the hamburgers everyone was talking about, but of course I only had 15 minutes to eat as many as I wanted. I have been eating really healthy here and love the food, but then again, I am one of the few people here who aren't picky so I love all the food.
I have started to teach lessons with latinos now and am learning a ton! I love being able to speak in Spanish.
Sorry there really isn't much to talk about this week, it has only been five days since the last email. A few little things that happened was moving classrooms for an unknown reason, but we are returning tomorrow. I met with Pres. Bennett and it was the best thing I could have done. I count the meeting as small because it was very personal. All I will say is that we are very, very similar. In order to make up for the small email, I have a lot of photos to send. I would send a photo of both of my ankles together so that you can see how swollen it is, but some people have problems with feet so just email me if you want it, I won't judge you or list your name next week on who asked for it, haha.
I love you all and hope you are all doing well!!!
