What's up everybody, happy new year, hope yall have some great goals set for 2022! Honestly not a whole lot happened this week. We have been working a lot more with the members here and trying to build the branch. There have been quite a few people baptized in the past who become very inactive after the missionaries change so we want to make the branch a solid home first. We have making a lot plans to push branch activities so inactive members and people who are interested in the church can find friends here in the gospel. So, if you all know good activities or good ways to help out members recharge their testimony let me know.
Other than that not a whole lot. Been doing a lot of contacting and trying to find people to teach, we ran into this one guy Pablo who loves talking with us. We've met over the phone a couple times. The last time we talked about eternal families and he loved it. He had us stop everything we were saying and repeat ourselves. He told us that this is what he wants. Unfortunately, me and Elder Pearce don't know how to fully describe everything about that in spanish, so we set up a time on sunday so we can visit him in person and so we can study it a little more.
Real quick, I read a scripture I want to share. It's in D&C 88 "67 And if your eye be single to my glory, your whole bodies shall be filled with light, and there shall be no darkness in you; and that body which is filled with light comprehendeth all things.68 Therefore, sanctify yourselves that your minds become single to God, and the days will come that you shall see him; for he will unveil his face unto you, and it shall be in his own time, and in his own way, and according to his own will."It's a little longer but its powerful. If you're looking for God and following his commandments as best as possible, he will show himself to you and you will be filled with light. Always look for Him everyday and make sure you set some good goals to help stay on track. I love you all so much! Happy new year
