Hello everybody! This week flew by. Which was awesome, but now I can't remember everything that happened. So it might be short this week, but I will do my best.
Awesome thing that happened yesterday! The person I mentioned last week is so awesome! We talked more about baptism and how it can bless our lives. We talked for almost an hour and at the end, we invited him to be baptized, and I didn't know what to expect him to say, but he asked us when. How wild is that? Me and Elder Austin kind of stared at each other, and said "that's a good question." We scheduled him to be ready by June 19th, and he said ok. I am so excited! It might be a little challenging because his mom was a member, but had her records removed. Hopefully we can get know her better and invite them both to church with us this Sunday. So please pray for them both so that these people can complete the goal that have been set.
We also met a guy who is very sure the apocalypse is right around the corner and said if it happens, then thats when he going to join the 'mormons' because they have being doing food storage for years and they will be the most prepared. We shared a little about the Book of Mormon and have plans to talk with him more throughout the week. So we'll see how it goes.
Also, we have zone conference on Friday, and I just barely got a call and was asked to lead the music for the meeting. I am very scared, so we'll see how that goes as well.
One more thing, I was reading from revaltions 22 and in verses 8 and 9 it says that John fell down to worship the angel, but the angel said, "do it not: for I am thy fellowservant and of thy brethren the prophets," and then he said, "worship God." It was just so cool that it was one of the apostles, his friend. It reminded me of the scene at the end of the Lord of the Rings when the Hobbits bow, and Aragon say, "you bow to no one." It's not quite the same, but I enjoyed the imagery of it.
Y'all are amazing and I hope you enjoy your week. Love ya!
