Transfer 12 (WEEK 2)
HIGHLIGHTS
A beautiful week! Every day this week was sunny which was so nice! Such a big change. But I know for sure winter isn't over yet. This week we met with an awesome single mom named Brooke! She just barely moved her and our first lesson was very spiritual with her. We will see what comes of it. My companionis struggling walking because he hurt his ankle. So he was on crutches for half the week untill we found him a walking stick! We managed to have a great week still. The work goes on! On Friday I was able to represent Brasil at a cultural activity at the big ISU Institute. I spent 2 hours sharing a few of my favorite things about Brasil to people as they circled around the displays. Very cool experience. I even met a few people who spoke Portuguese which was sweet!
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT
How can we know to call ourselves disciples of christ? John 13:35 says "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." Loveing our neighbor is so basic. Love is much more than words, it's an action! Just like faith. The world could always use more love right? Think of someone you have hard feelings for or a hard time getting a long with, then do something kind for them. You won't do it! Bet! Have a great week!
