Transfer 11 (WEEK 1)
Hey there! Happy new years! It's crazy to think the holiday season is over now! Until next year! This week was super good! Elder Ferriera and I walked a ton up and down Gwen hill this week because dinner was up there every night. Good stuff! New years was excellent! Malakai got his wish and was Baptiste on his bday, on new years day! He is such a stud and and an amazing example to his family. We've had a fun time teaching him! It snowed like crazy yesterday as we were walking to church. We also got to know our new district a bit better this week. I love them all!
Spiritual Thought
This week we played a game called the sacrifice game a lot with members and investigators. It's a game where they analyze what is most important to them and what they want most in life if they could only have 1 or 2 things. I saw that most people truly care about 1-2 things the most. If they already have a Christian background it is normally christ first. If not probably family. Normally people choose one or the other. It makes sense! It's natural to love your family and choose them over anything else in life (Job, friends, money). Family means everything to many people. In reality though, without Christ we wouldn't have family. He created the plan that consisted of us coming here to have a family, and everything else we have in life :) I'm grateful for that John 3: 27 says "A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven." It's that simple. Everything we have is a blessing from God. Have an excellent week!
