Transfer 9 (WEEK 5)
HIGHLIGHTS
Hi everyone! This week was pretty good! We helped our two solid people (Lexi and Jade) progress. We were blessed to have a super spiritual lesson with Jade. She told us she definetly wants to get baptized. All she is waiting for is her husband's parents (who are members) to come to town during christmas. It will be so special! She's awesome and knows the gospel is true. We tried hard to find some new people this week going through part member family lists and visiting people. We found one pretty cool family named the Pendleburies who we are going to work with. They just moved here in April. We had an excellent zone conference yesterday. It was held at a historic tabernacle built in 1863. It was really cool looking. President southward is so positive and full of energy. Thursday we had an amazing opportunity to meet Alex Boyé! I don't know how we got him to come but he gave us a great spiritual and motivational speech. He has the most energy I've ever seen in anyone. His story is so inspiring. Then he sang us a song at the end. I wasn't expecting to see him when I woke up! Great week!
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT
I'd like to share a scripture that Alex boyé shared with us that comforts and inspires me. He quoted 2nd Nephi 24:24 "The Lord of Hosts hath sworn, saying: Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand." God knows everything. He knew what I would do as soon as I woke up this morning. He also knows what I will do for the rest of my life. Where I will go, and everyone I will meet. It is all with a purpose. His plan for me is perfect, not easy, but perfect because his hand is in it and I find peace in knowing that!
