I can not beleive this transfer is coming to an end. And the training of my son Elder Silva. Man we have learned sooo much together. The past two transfers together have been the 2 best, valueful, and fun transfers of the mission. We have learned and grown so much together. We have never faught or bickered once. It´s because we are united. Being united as people and with our nieghbors is an ecential atribute as people of god if we want peace and equality in the world. Before Alma chapter 4, Alma baptised about 3,500 people. In just 8 years the chruch of god (or these recent converts too) began to be full of pride. They began fighting about things that didn´t matter. After they faught they heald grudges. They ebgan to use and dress in really expensie cloths and esteam them selves as much better than others. They even began to perecute others when they didn´t beleive in the same things as them. Verses 10-11 state the final result 10 And thus ended the eighth year of the reign of the judges; and the wickedness of the church was a great

11 And it came to pass in the commencement of the ninth year, Alma saw the wickedness of the church, and he saw also that the

So to summarise. If we let our pride get inbetween us and our fellow members, and friends, our progress will end. Spiritual growth in quorums, in sunday schools, will halt. We must always strive to stay united tigthly to preserve friendships, and continue progressing spirtually together in the church. This should always be present in The Church of Jesus Christ.
Well, sorry I was unable to email yesterday. It was a holiday here and the computer house was closed, But I can talk today! This was a great busy week! WE had interviews with president on Wednesday (my birthday) :) Sister Kern suprised me with a a Nutela cake for me when I arrived! Wow it was so good. Then thursday Elder Silva had his last part of training wayyy in Botafogo. He did really well. He is a natural teacher I think. When we got back we worked for a bit, and went to the enlgish class at 6pm. I was all ready to teach about music and instruments and what not. We got there and Elder Ty said theat Elder Silvera wanted to teach teh English class on the second floor of the church, and I was like ok no prob. When I got upstairs like half the ward was waitin gthere and they suprised me for my birthday! I freaking love the members here. They are THE BEST! They go wayy above and beyond to help you feel welcome and supported. I put in a few pics. This sundau we went and visited Cassiane and her family. It ws our first time there because in the past her dad really didn´t like the Missionaries but he´s starting to warm up a bit. We had a good lesson with her mom. Then yesterday for dinner Maria Eduarda told us her mom (who isn´t a member) wanted to make dinner for us. We got there and we had barbeque last night. It was really great! All after helping Elder Ty finish the first vision Grafiti that Sister and presidente Kern "sponsored." haha. Overall an excellent week. Love you all!
