WEEK 2 (Transfer 6)

What´s up everyone! I hope everyone is doing well this week. Today I´d like to share a scripture I like a lot. This scripture is Ether 12:4, which says  4 Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with surety hope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which hope cometh of faith, maketh an anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being led to glorify God.This scriptue gives me a lot of hope. When we bleive in god we can beleive in a better world and a better future because we know god wants the best for us. We are his children and just like our fathers here on earth, he wants us to succeed. What we need to do is always praise him for all the blessings he has given us. Also, we need to praise him for the trails that he gave us. These aren´t just here to anoy us. Gods plan for us, no matter how difficult or crazy it seems, is perfect. It´s perfect because he created it for you.
This week was excellent! Tuesday I picked up my son (Elder Silva)! I will be training him for the next 12 weeks. Elder Silva is super cool. He is Brazilian and from Maranhão. He is from a city called Açailand. How cool is that? It sounds like something from disneyland. I picked him up in the Botafogo church building. From there we took one bus to Fonseca, which is our new area. We live on the 10th floor of an apartment building now. Fonseca is cool. There are lots of Favelas here to explore so that will be interesting. This Friday one of our investigators named Rafaela was baptized! She is 18 years old, and is following the example of her younger sister who was baptized 2 months ago. She has a baby girl and is setting a good exaple for her. Super happy for her. She was confirmed Sunday. The last Elders who were here left us some good investigators so this week we vistied the whole list and now we have a good idea of who we want to continue with. The ward here is the weakest ward I´ve served in yet. There were 70 people at church Sunday. The young men and women are realy lacking. We will try our best to help this ward and these members out and serve them well. Well have a great week everyone! Prayers are always welcome. Tchau!
