WEEK 10

Hey friends and fam! This week was a solid week in the field. Today I want to write about an attribute of Christ called patience. Something that seems to be out of reach for me and many other people. Jesus was the most patient person to ever live. He was patient while he was suffering during the atonement. Hey was patient all throughout his life when he, THE Christ, and the savior of the world, was rejected and spit upon by many. At times we may wonder why our life has so many problem and why you have so many difficulties. In school, in sports, with addictions, portuguese (haha) ect. But these should not deter you! These things are only in front of you to smash with the help of god. In the Book of Mormon Mosias 23: 21-22 says: 21. "Não obstante, O senhor julga conveniente castigar seu povo; sim, ele prova sua paciencia e sua fé. 22. Entretanto, quem nele confia será elevado no último dia. E assim foi com este povo." (Sorry I dont have my english version with me rn). (English) 21. Nevertheless the Lord seeth fit to chasten his people; yea, he trieth their patience and their faith.
22. Nevertheless--whosoever putteth his trust in him the same shall be lifted up at the last day. Yea, and thus it was with this people.Basically this says that god gives us challenges to test our patience and to grow.
This week was cool. We had zone conference on Thursday and a member was kind enough to drive us, so we all packed into his tiny fiat car and drove 1 hr to another meetinghouse. It was solid and I got to see some good friends. The food was excellent like always. I am a little sick right now but not super baldy. Just a little cold. Right now we are working on finding more interested investigators. Next week is transfer week. Anyways feeling good! have a great week!
