Good afternoon everyone! This week was steller! I am very sore at the moment haha. My main goal this week was to focus on the importance and the affect of the covenants you make at baptism. When we are baptized we are held to a higher standard my god. God expects everyone to try and obey his commandments, but when you are baptized you make a promise to do so. This sounds intimidating, but that is why we have the gift of the holy ghost with baptism. The holy ghost will guide you and help you know what to do and what not to do in many situations. You gain a new best friend. A constant companion. This week I was able to help two people make these covenants. Our investigators Marcos and Alexadre. Marcos has 51 years, and Alexandre 41. They live 2 minutes down the street from each other. This week we were with them every other day teaching them and helping them prepare for baptism Sunday. Sunday, what a steller day! The baptismal service was great. We had 30 members of the ward there and a great video. I ended up baptizing both because E. Chipman didn't want to get wet and change haha. I feel immense joy for Marcos and Alexandre.
This week we also made new records. Make lots of good contacts and found some good investigators we will teach this week! Today I bought a Botafogo soccer jersey and some soccer shoes because we play every p-day now. I though because I will be here for 2 years I might as well haha. Anyways, SOLID WEEK!
