Well this week was crazy
So the AP stayed with from Monday until Thursday and I´ve enver
learned so much from one guy in four days. He uses the bible a lot and
teaches really powerful lessons. He taught us how we can get parents
permission to baptize their kids. So we decided to call the Elders and
Sister in our zone asking them if they have some investigators that can be
baptized if there parents let them. Charquedas said that they had three so
we decided that Friday we would go to the Sisters area and do talk to some
parents.
Well we used our power of convincing and we ended up getting two
baptisms for the sisters! It was awesome. The sisters were happy as heck.
When we got back from Charqueadas God blessed us with a miracle. We found
this lady in the area book that is an investigator for 8 years. We went to
her house and we knew her! She goes to the church like every sunday i
thought she was a member. Anyways we used John 5 and talked about the tank
of water in the first couple verses and invited her to baptism and she
accepted. The whole branch was confused. Everyone was suprised as heck. I
couldn´t believe it. So Saturday was her baptism! It was crazy as heck.
Then during the baptism we went to grab our camera and this lady in the
front of our house calls for help. We ran to her house and there is the
dude on the ground having a convulsion. Well we called the ambulance and
picked the dude up and put him in the ambulance. By the way the brazilian
ambluance dont know jack squat becuase when the ambulance came we are
holding this dude in our arms dying and two ladies come from the ambulance
to take the dudes tempurature. HIS TEMPERATURE. THE DUDE DYING HAVING A
HEART ATTACK AND THESE LADIES TRYING TO TAKE HIS TEMPERATURE THEY THINK HE
GOT A COLD. But then my brazilian companion explained that her in brazil
the people who work with the ambulance make less than school teachers so i
guess that makes sense. But the dude lived! I think.
Sunday Soila (the lady that was baptized) arrived one minute before
her confirmation and i stopped sacrament meeting to confirm her. That was
crazy. Transfers came and me and Patrício are staying so thats awesome.
I love the mish
