My whole life ive stived to be my best with self dicipline and always
establishing goals. When i was about ten years old i wasnt a very smart
kid. I was failing some classes and needed to step it up to make it pass
the fifth grade. However my parents have always taught me that our
weaknesses can become strengths through the gospel. As a child a had lots
of upfliting and spiritual experiences that helped me recongize the lord´s
hand in my life. The spirit guided me on my childhood adventures. I
remember during this fifth grade year, i was bitten my a brown ruclus
spider. I remeber sitting in my bed crying becuase of the pain i was
feeling in my leg with the venom rising. My dad gave me apreisthood
blessing that my leg would be completly healed. The next morning i woke up
and the bite had disappeared. There wasnt even a mark. That day i realized
the power of the preisthood and the imortance of the plan god had preapred
for me. I started establishing many goals. When i entered in junior high i
established the goal that i would just get As and Bs and not any Cs, During
this time from i started eating healthier and working out more devolping a
fit and healthy body. When i got into high school i stepped up my goal,
that i would only get As. Never a B in a class. I also made the goal to be
an eagle scout at the age 14. I started realizing my potential when i
passed the first two years of high school as an eagle scout with just A´s.
When I was 16 years old i started patricpating in varies clubs and sports
making goals for how fast i should run and how many people i could
re-activate in my preist quorom. Through healthy friendships i was able to
complete all my tasks in the church while enjoying my high school
experience finishing with all A´s. On my mission i strived to always be
obedient and i was rewarded by helping many branches grown and training
lots of misisonaries my first year. My second year i set a new bar for my
goal of baptisms and was called to be a zone leader. I will continue to
strive and make new goals. Everything i´ve learned was becuase of my
parents. My dad has never made it easy on me always making me work when i
want something and save money on my own. He said if i wanted ot be
succesful like him i would have to pass through the same trials that he
passed through. However because of his example i am who i am today. I´ve
have learned to love trials because they teach us so much and ahve many
blessings behind them. I think i can put my talents and goals in practice
at BYU making this already great student envirorment even better.
make this good dad
