This was a great week her in Arroio Dos Ratos
We decided that this week we would do the 25 day challenge of light
the world. For the first day we decided to buy a fan for a poor family.
Here in Brazil the majority of people dont have air condicioning so they
use fans to make themselves cool. We found a family that was suffering a
lot in the heat here and they just lived in a wooden house. We decided to
buy a fan for the family and we left it on her door saying that it was a
doation from someone in the church. We returned there the next day to see
her reaction and she was so happy. She started crying of joy. That was
really cool to see.
Sunday we managed to bring quite a bit of people to church. We
borught these two little girls who are granddaughters of a less active that
we are working with. One of the girls, Mayana, even went up to bare her
testimony. That was the cutest thing I´ve seen. She´s only ten years old
but she´s really spiritual.
The youth are excited as heck about the mini MTC. They are giving us
referals every day and doing visits with us. Sunday they brought 3
investigators to church. They are awesome. Also they are teaching the
Restoration a lot better. Man i love the youth.
This week i have to help the misisonaries in Cachoeira which means I
will leave my are with Elder Patrício this week. Man Cachoeira is dead so
im gunna have to work my butt of this week.
Guys once again i´m not able to describe the joy that the gospel
brings. There doesnt exist a better place to feel joy than on the mission.
How grateful I am for having made the decision.
