Well
The craziest thing happened to me. Our stake divided this week and
now there is a stake viamão so that was awesome. After the stake
conference, President Cruz comes up to me and says he has a special task
for me to do. He says that I´ve been called to be a zone leader in arroio
dos ratos. Man I´ve heard about this zone and it´s not pretty. It´s the
only zone that doesnt have a ward. Literally a zone full of branches. So I
pack my bags up and head to the mission office. My new companion is Elder
O. Rodrigues. He is also a zone leader but he is dead as heck. He will
finish his mission in 3 WEEKS. He has 3 weeks to teach me everything.
Well we arrive to Arroio dos ratos and its the saddest thing I´ve
ever seen. The population is 15,000. This city is three times smaller than
Camaquã. The branch presidente isnt even sealed in the temple and the
branch is dying. Also Elder O rodrigues doesnt have any money so I will
have to buy food for the week:( Also our zone has 14 SISTERS AND ONLY 6
ELDERS HOW IM I GOING TO COMMAND SISTERS I FEEL LIKE THE RELIEF SOCIETY
PRESIDENT.
Please pray a lot for me.
Our zone is in the middle of nowhere in the mission and each time
we have a district meeting or training we have to travel to the other
branches that are like hours away.
Leaving montanha ward was sad. I said goodbye to all our converts
and shed a tear or two. Man I love that ward. Also I love Elder Araujo. He
really became my best friend. Our bishop and ward mission leader wrote me a
letter saying that I was truly dedicated in my work here. So that made me
feel good.
Well there arent even people here so I´m not sure how we are
going to baptize but I´ll just press forward with faith
Bye
Elder Morrow
fotos will come in next week:)
