The device I mailed sounded like it does the same thing- it stops them
from barking and whatever. But with any of those devices it works on some
dogs and some dogs it doesn't. I hope it helps.
Love you.

Hi Elder Morrow,
Only one week left of summer break : ( I'm not ready for school to
start and all the craziness. Summer break is way too short. I've always
hated how short it is being in the QC school district. But oh well.
In your last email, you told us how you and Elder A taught about
traditional families with pictures of the elders that taught his family-
and where they are now. What a great idea! It was special to hear your
testimony about families and the joy and laughs you've had with us. That's
where my greatest joy comes from, for sure!
So we had our first Ward Council with Bishop Morrow. He did so good. We
had a spiritual discussion and a message from the handbook and an agenda
and he was very organized. It was great! I hope I'm able to attend a few
more ward councils with him. I'm not released yet : )
I mailed you a package with a dog repellent device. It got better reviews
on Amazon than the whistles did. So read the little instruction book with
it. I also included some of your requested food items. Yee-yee!
So I finished the Book of Mormon again and started back to the beginning
with 1st Nephi. I've always been impressed with Nephi and his obedience and
his willing attitude. Of course we are familiar when he goes to get the
brass plates from Laban but there's other stories that show these good
qualities. Like when the Lord commanded him to build a ship and asked where
he should go to find ore to molten that he can make tools to build the ship
(17:9). He didn't make excuses - like not having tools, but instead he was
proactive and willing to do what was needed and asked where to find the
mineral to make the tools to build a ship. He is so faithful and dedicated!
Such a good example! We all need to be more like Nephi and a better
disciple of Jesus Christ. I'm thankful for the scriptures and these stories
and what we can learn from them.
So glad you are loving being a missionary. Pray for bishop/dad. He has a
lot on his mind and feels overwhelmed. I love you so much son! Keep
teaching with all your heart.
Love, Mom
