So I'm getting transferred, and so is Elder Teina, we'll still be in Daloa, we'll be reopening Kennedy 2 to missionary work, Elder Newell and Elder Allsop have been working there a little but Elder Teina and I will be working there now, we'll still work in Gbeuliville a little but mostly in Kennedy 2. Thursday was great, I was on exchanges with Elder Newell and we had a lot of fun we were "coincidentally" working in the Kennedy 2 area. At the end of the day we went to Elder and Sister Spackman's house and had an AMAZING meal, I stuffed myself and then Sister Spackman said it's time for desert, I had forgotten that was a thing and had eaten a lot, luckily I found some room, sooooooooo good, being in Africa you really treasure american food, especially homemade food. The church is true y'all. Friday we watched the Restoration movie with Fr. Ariel since he missed most of it last week. At the end he asked us why Joseph Smith suffered so much, why he had so much opposition, and really I think that's what being a true disciple of Christ is enduring trials and hardships because of the faith we have that all things will be for our good and give us experience. I'm inspired by the Prophet Joseph's example, he could've denied what he saw at anytime, he had plenty of incentive to do it, life would've been a whole lot simpler had he chosen to be a simple New York farm boy but he knew what he had seen and he knew God knew. I know he was a prophet of God. Saturday was Fr. Sadia's baptism and it was great! We worked hard and God let us help Fr. Sadia make this important step in his life and I'm so grateful for that, God is good. Sunday he was confirmed and that was great too! Missionary work isnt easy but it's great! The church is true, Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and the Book of Mormon is the Word of God!Je vous aime!Elder BennettPS I did not really get bitten by a monkey 1. A pretty cool sunset2.
