Hello!
This week we had zone conference with our new mission president. Wow. This man knows the Spirit, and does everything he can to allow himself to be a vessel through which the Spirit of God can work. When you see him walk in, and when you're even within a few feet of him, there's this essence emanating from him, kind of like the closer you get to a lightbulb the brighter it is, the same concept with the Spirit. He's a powerful man because he is a godly man.Our mission president taught that the greatest trials, the greatest buffetings of the adversary, always come before the greatest blessings and growth come from Heavenly Father. There is opposition in all things, after all. This is something I've seen in my mission time and time again. We went to Broadus and gave talks yesterday. One of the members there, his family for multiple generations have been woodworkers. His father for his entire life made handmade wooden earrings, tie pins, bolo ties, amongst many other things. They are way cool. I may have gotten a bolo tie. Just saying...
