This Week Was Intense
Hello!
This week was crazy. Wednesday through Sunday (5 days) I was sick with a
throat bug that made me hack up a lung all day so I had to stay in all day.
Wednesday, our phone fried itself (who knows how), so we couldn't contact
anybody. Thursday, our new phone stopped being able to make calls and send
texts, so we couldn't contact anybody. Somehow through it all we were able
to get other Elders here to come babysit me while my companion went and did
work with other Elders, and he taught a ton of lessons. Saturday, my
companion called 55 people and set up 10 lessons, and some of them seem
pretty solid. Yesterday, we went and set up a ton of lessons because I
wasn't able to teach (talk without coughing), but I was able to be drug
along and he set up a ton of lessons! My companion is the hardest working,
cleanest man I have ever met. I am soaking up a ton from him. He tells me
I'm hard working... I think he's joking!!!
That being said, Rapid City is beautiful! And it's a lot of fun, because
there's other missionaries around. And, when you get sick, your companion
gets to go on exchanges with other missionaries so he doesn't have to stay
in for 5 days straight. :)
