Hello!
Duuuuuude the adversary does not like us lol, they're forever miserable and
will do everything in their power to get you to be miserable. One tool they
try to use is to get you to shut down and close yourself off from the
world. That way you can't get help, and the adversary can use your brain as
a playground to cause you to be miserable.
My companion and I learned a lesson about what the Spirit truly feels like
yesterday. We were invited to go to an investigator's church because we
invited them to go to ours, so we went to theirs. There was a live band,
playing inspirational music that made us feel good, but we knew we weren't
feeling the Spirit because the lyrics were preaching false doctrine. When
we went to our own church later that day, we felt the peace and calm, the
stillness. We also felt good then, but it was different. It helped us to
recognize when we're feeling the Spirit in our everyday lives. In Galatians
5:22, it tells us more about that, how the Spirit is peace. Only the Spirit
can give us peace, nothing else can.
