Ask his sister, you have her email to send you everyone's emails so they
receive your letters and pictures. I think they would benefit greatly from
it.

I've been sending Guy's family my emails. Just not Guy because I don't
have his email. I haven't made beans yet. They're expensive here. Like
10-15 dollars a bag, versus like 2 or 3 back in Arizona.
I bought a coat on Saturday. $280 dollars, probably the nicest coat in
the entire store. My companion from Pennsylvania, who's hometown is always
in the negatives in the winter, said he's *really* jealous of my new
coat. The coat we bought in Arizona is literally just a jacket, not a
winter coat. The difference is: jacket: keep me warm until 30 degrees,
winter coat: keep me alive and warm until -60 :) Apparently the only
climates in the world similar to this mission are Siberia and Antarctica.
Canada and Alaska get cold, but they don't have the jetstream like we do,
so we get much colder and much windier. :) And, about my 300 dollars, have
you put it in the card yet? You don't really have to now, I'm not going to
be buying anything major... I might send a box or two home of stuff I
thought I'd use but I'm not using. That way I don't have to worry about
transfers and packing everything. I feel bad, but I'm not using the rubber
piano. It works, but it's frustrating to actually play because the keys
turn to the side and don't register so you misfire a lot. So I just use the
pianos at the church buildings. I really appreciate the rubber one! I just
don't use it because it's not super good. To get the good stuff I guess it
has to be a real one unfortunately.
I'll let Andy know when my shoes are dead haha.
Hm... Halloween... candy!!! Wait for transfers before you send anything.
Transfers are next Monday. I'm pretty sure I'll be staying, but not 100%. I
like Reeses Peanut Butter Cups and Kit Kats :)
We're teaching people, but they don't really do anything. That's why I
don't really talk about it in the weekly's, I only give people interesting
things that they'll actually read. I don't read my friends' emails that are
super long and talk about literally everything they did in the week. I read
the ones that talk about one major thing about someone really making
progress in the Gospel. Therefore I only write those kinds of emails.

Hello!
So I ran into Guy's family. His mom asked about you. I told them all
to give their sister their email and pass it along to you. They want to
get your emails. His mom asked me to ask you if you had made beans yet.
Brother Knudsen asked if you bought a coat yet and how much. He asks
all the time. Wants you to be warm. Just how cold is it now?
Andy is in the state now. We saw him yesterday. We should see him
again on Wed. He said when you need new shoes to let him know. Brother Lee
asked about you too.
Planted more flowers this week. I planted too early and had to replace
some flowers. Too hot.
Choir practice sounded amazing today!
Is there anything you would like for Halloween?
Are you teaching anyone? Who is your companion? Your Mission President
posts pictures occasionally on Facebook of his missionaries. I really
appreciate that! Make some beans. Haha!
I scanned lots of pictures today. Andy brought them over from
Belgium. Not the violin pics.
Love,
Mom
