Holy cow this week went too fast! We got a lot done but it feels like we didn't get to do anything!
I was able to go on exchanges with Elder Porter this week and it was super fun! We taught this war veteran that suffers from some memory loss and PTSD and when we knocked on the door he pulled a shotgun on us...so that was exciting!
So we had a crazy amount of rain this week and was dumping buckets on Amarillo! We made some paper boats and sailed them down the street where the water was flowing! I finished my drawing of the Texas Lubbock Mission and it turned out pretty cool! I have to work quick – ain’t nobody got time for that stuff.
We got a new investigator this week - he is awesome! We were walking and he was taking a time-lapse video of a guy tagging a wall (I'm going to get that somehow) and he was actually super interested in what we had to say! We have an appointment with him this week and he said that he would bring his girlfriend! So that was super exciting! Oh ya his name is Michael and I can't wait to meet with him again!
So the graffiti wall got updated this week with some actual street art and it looks so sweet! This is where we met Michael when he was taking that video! It looks awesome!
There are these signs all throughout Amarillo that have random phrases and stuff and this one is from Star Wars and Elder Pulsipher and I were so stoked to see it haha
So this has been the fastest transfer in my mission and I think it's because I'm having too much fun being a missionary! I've reflected again and again on how fast the mission really is and it goes by faster than the blink of an eye. I hit my ten month mark yesterday and it's crazy to think that I've been out for almost a year! I just want to say that time is a precious thing that the Lord has given to us that we can't get back. We need to use it to the best of our ability so that we can try to reach our max potential in this life.
I love you all! Shout out to Blake Barney on getting his call to Chile! That's going to be sweet! You're going to change lives!
