6 Months!!!
This week was a pretty boring week I guess. Tuesday we started our new service at the habitat for humanity place and that went good. We are just helping unload and load and
clean and put stuff on shelves and all sorts of stuff haha. So that was good. And then that night we went to see some less active single sisters in the ward who we usually visit on Tuesday haha. Those are always good. Wednesday we had our worldwide missionary broadcast which was pretty cool. They reviewed the one from last year I guess and it was pretty good. They made a bunch of changes to our schedule so now we are supposed to be more productive with our days. After that, we
met with Juan for the first time in a few weeks. And he is struggling
with a few different things right now. But we will continue working with him. And after that we went up to do a little splits thing with the Estes elders. Elder Arnold has been really sick and hadn't been able to do much work in their area so we went up and we're able to go see some people and do some tracting and it was a good time. Thursday, we had district meeting and after that, we started three straight days
of moving people. We went and helped sister mcninch move apartments. Luckily she was only moving two building over, but it was still a process. Haha. We got boxes upon boxes of food moved to her new place, and a recliner, and all sorts of different things. And by 6 o'clock she was tired and done for the day. So we went to dinner and met with the petersons that night. Friday, we had weekly planning for a good
chunk of our day, however we stopped two or three times. We took an entertainment center over to sister mcninchs from bishop. And then we helped bishop clean out his garage and do some stuff there, as well as
take apart their trampoline. And all sorts of stuff. And then we had to go help another member in the ward who was bringing sister mcninch a washer and dryer. So we loaded those up and took those to her as well. Then rushed to dinner and after that, we ran to our appointment
with sister kleinhansel. Or Luise. Idk what I usually call her haha.
Then Saturday there was a young couple moving out and so we went over there in the morning to help out as well. And they had a bunch of stuff to take to sister mcninch. So we took three trucks full of stuff over there and were able to help unload all of that. After that, we went over a little later and started on moving things over from her old garage to her new one. Which had a bunch more boxes and different
things, as well as a refrigerator and a freezer both full of food. And that took up just about the entire day. And we were
both dead and I felt like trash so we went home and went to bed.
Sunday was nice. We had a good meeting and good classes. After that we went to see sister baker. And then came home to get ready for our preach my gospel class with the youth. That was a pretty good time. We went over the commandments and then played charades and they had to
act out different commandments. It was pretty funny some of them haha.
Then we went to visit the chandlers that night. So a lot of moving this week Haha. One thing I liked about sacrament was one of the talks that was given. It referenced a talk by president uchtdorf talking
about how archery relates to the gospel. And how sometimes we shoot the arrow. And then draw the target around the arrow to make it seem like we made it or to rationalize and make it seem like we are following the gospel principles. But then said that the only way to doit right and see the affects is to work hard at hitting the target already drawn. I probably butchered that but it's a really good talk if you get the chance to read it haha. Hope you all have a great week and are doing well! Can't believe it's been almost 6 months already.
