Ayyy momma,

It feels like the past 5 months have flown by but then it also feels like I've been out for way longer than that so I guess it evens out haha. We still do not have our car back... however, it has finally been approved to be fixed so I believe it's in the shop being repaired right now. We're just waiting on an estimated time of when it will be done. If elder smith is correct, we should have it by the end of the week so hopefully. But I'm not getting my hopes up.

Ayyy momma,

Well I apologize, but this will be another fairly short email. With
Christmas and New Years and not having a car, things were pretty slow this week. Everybody seems to be busy, and those that aren't, it takes forever to get to them. Tuesday, me and elder Arnold were preparing our training that we would give the following Thursday in district
meeting. Which was cool. It was on what had been taught at the
leadership meeting I was able to attend. So that took a good chunk of our day planning that. And that night, we went and visited an older less active lady in the ward. And walked around some apartment complexes trying to talk to people for the rest of the night. Wednesday to Thursday we had exchanges with the Estes elders. So we went up and helped them with some service for most of the day, and
went to visit some people later that night. Thursday we had our
district meeting. Me and elder Arnold gave the training at this
meeting and it was pretty cool to do that. Then after the meeting,
since we got a bunch of new people in our district, we played a game called hot seat. Where one person sits in a chair in front of
everybody else and anybody can ask questions and they have to answer. It was pretty fun. After district meeting and lunch, since we were still on exchanges, I went down to the mission office with elder Arnold to exchange their car. Which was kinda nice to just go for a drive. And I got to talk to elder smith about our car so it worked out good. Friday, we had weekly planning and then went to try and contact some of the less active members we were trying to reach. Which was
unsuccessful as usual haha. Then we were able to have dinner with one of the members we've been trying to see lately as well as her non member husband so that was awesome. And went very well. That night we went back to the apartments and tried to contact some more people but
nobody seemed to be home so we just talked to people walking around. Saturday, we did something pretty cool actually. Estes had a bunch of return appointments and a lot of them were Spanish speaking. So we had the Spanish elders come up as well as us and we all helped out Estes. I thought I was gonna be able to use my amazing Spanish but I just went to English appointments;) haha so we spent most of the day up there and went to do some service there as well. And we had to be in by 6 o'clock since it was New Year's Eve and that didn't leave us with
a whole lot to do. We sat around, and did what we could on our iPads and kinda just chilled haha. It wasn't very exciting. Sunday was nice. We went to church and had s good meeting, and good classes. Then we came home and made some ham fried rice. Which reminds me mom, I need
you to send me that recipe so I can make that. Cuz yours is a lot
better haha. And dads mountain man breakfast would be good too if you could send that. After lunch, we went to go visit the chandlers. They are the older couple with the little farm that we go do service at all the time. He hasn't been feeling very good for a while so we went to go see how they were doing and had s good visit with them. They're great people. Then we had dinner and after that we went back over to
the apartments to try and contact people yet again. With not very much success. So a lot of contacting that didn't work very well haha. But hopefully we can get back to more appointments this week. I hope you all had a good holiday season and happy New Years to you all! Love
you!

Love,
Elder Littlewood
