Well I’m down to my last two emails. Most of the people this is sent to probably won’t even read this. But for those of you who are loyal or for those of you that know I’m coming home soon so you’re trying to catch up haha. And everybody who is reading this, will think it’s funny because they will think they don’t fall into any of those categories haha. But I still love you all. Now, hopefully y’all took that as a joke cuz it wasn’t directed at anybody. I can’t believe it’s this close. It really doesn’t seem real. But I know there’s a bigger plan in place and I’m ready to start the next chapter in my life. It will be exciting! Also, if any of you want information on airport details or homecoming details, please let me know s so I can get those to you. This week was filled with service. We had lots of it. Mostly moving people. One of which was a non member family. Really cool family with some pretty good potential. Maybe some day they will be interested in the gospel! We’ve made some pretty good contacts this week and even found a girl who may be interested in the gospel. We talked to her one evening while walking around. We will see! The work really hasn’t exploded but it’s all good. Hopefully we can leave the area better than we found it for the next missionaries!
Today we celebrate Pioneer Day! What a unique and special day set aside to remember the early saints crossing the plains seeking religious freedom. I am so grateful for all those people who gave so much, sacrificed so much, and endured more than any human should ever have to; just so that they could practice their religion. They traveled thousands of miles, on blistered and bloodied feet, because they knew that what they were doing was right. At any time they could’ve stopped and said none of it was true. But they didn’t because the Holy Ghost had testified and touched them and they had an undeniable witness. I admire their courage and drive to accomplish what they did. I hope to adopt those attributes to the same magnitude they had them. Enjoy the holiday! I’ll see y’all very soon! Love ya!
