Hey everybody!
Wow this week flew by! The work is really starting to pick up! We have really been having some great experiences with the Smith family! This is the mother and her two kids who have been investigating. And we had a great lesson with them on Sunday. They are actually on date for baptism on April 7th! They are so great and we’re so excited! We also had a really good lesson with a less active member who told us he decided to come back to church! And he did! It was so great to see him come. We also had a less active who has a nonmember boyfriend and she made it to church which was huge in and of itself but she brought her daughter and her boyfriend which was amazing! The whole crew was there. We also got to go to the temple today which I love. It was such a great experience and such a strong spirit. I love it:)
I want to share a scripture that I came across and I hope it inspires you as it did to me. It’s
Ether 12:4: “4 Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with surety hope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which hope cometh of faith, maketh an anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being led to glorify God.”
There are some amazing promises in this scripture! First off, we must have a belief in god. Now everybody is in a different place with their belief in god, but as long as it’s there, we can “with surety hope for a better world”. I think that’s something everyone wants. And that belief in god, leads us to a place at the right hand of god. It gives us faith which can be an anchor to our soul. And we all need to be anchored to Christ and his gospel and abound in good works. There are so many blessings that comes with a belief in god. And prayer is what helps that relationship.
