Back in loveland! It’s a good thing I enjoy loveland cuz at the end of this transfer I’ll have spent over a quarter of my mission here. But I can’t complain. We cover two wards so we have quite a bit of area, and we spend just about all day Sunday at church. This past week we were at the church building from 9 to 5. So sundays are going to be quite long. But the area is doing really well. In one of the wards we have a lot of less active work going on and in the other ward we actually have a mother and her two kids on Date for March 10th! So we’re super excited for that! Hopefully everything works out.
This week I heard something really interesting from the members we live with and I want to share it with you guys. We were talking about the transfer and change and stuff like that, and I’ll be the first to admit, I hate change. Even if I’m in a rough situation, I usually figure out how to deal with that situation and when things change I don’t like it Haha. But what our member said really changed my perspective on things. It was just a short simple comment but what she said was “just when you get comfortable, the lord gives you something else to tackle.” And I love that. We’re on the earth to learn and progress. And I’ve said it before and I stand by it. There’s no growth in a comfort zone and there’s no comfort in a growth zone. Heavenly Father knows what’s best for us and so we need to be ok with change and trust in his plan. So I would just challenge everybody to be ok with change. Because there’s somebody a lot better than us and a lot more knowledgeable than us who is in charge. And I love him so much. Just like I love you all! Have a great week!
