Being a missionary is great!
Hey everyone!
Well this week was pretty great. The Eaton elders in my district had
two baptisms! I was able to be the one who interviewed the both of
them. I also had the opportunity to teach them once before hand. I
didn’t know I could feel that deep of a relationship with someone I
had only met once but I think when you are in the position of
interviewing them, you are blessed to see them as the savior sees
them. It was one of the neatest experiences I’ve had on my mission.
And it was 100% the spirit confirming to me that they were ready. The
baptism was great and elder Gentry (who has gone home) Skyped in so I got to see him as well which was great! I’ve gotten some great emails this week which has really made it a great one. First, one of my very good friends who
had to go home for medical issues is coming back out! So that was
great to hear. And then someone that I taught a while back, emailed me
saying she was getting married in the temple this summer and that was
probably the most rewarding thing I’ve felt in a long time. It’s amazing to know that you were a part of a change for the better in someone’s life. I’m so happy and excited for her! It just goes to show
that you never know whose life you will touch and when you will get to
see the fruits of that. Being a missionary is great. I love it and it
has been so worth the sacrifices made. Sorry this is so short. But I
