Hey everybody!
Merry Christmas! I hope everybody had a great Christmas! This last week has been pretty good. We had our zone conference for our mission which was great to get together and see all the other missionaries. We got to have a vehicle for a couple days which was really nice! And just in time since we have some snow on the ground. And of course we had Christmas! Which is always great. Last one on the mission! It was definitely a more laid back week with the holidays. Christmas was great. We had a district meeting, and played some games, did some caroling, opened some presents, and most importantly got to talk to my wonderful family who I love so much! We did however, have the gentleman that we live with go to the hospital on Thursday. And he has been there ever since. Which brings me to the more spiritual part of my letter. 2 things. 1. You just never know what’s going to happen. You never know if today will be your last day. You never know if it’ll be the last time you see somebody. Crazy things happen. So take every opportunity you are given, and make the best of it. Cherish the time you get to spend with those that make you happy. Do everything right the first time. Tell those you love, that you love them! 2. Don’t take things for granted. Poor Gene (who we live with) has now spent Christmas and today, which is his birthday, away from home in the hospital with no family. Luckily, He’s had visits from the church, but that’s about it. Take the special times we have in life for what they are. Special! Always keep this in mind especially during this season. I love you guys so much! Have a happy holiday season!
