Baptism
Hey everybody! Well first things first, Ian was baptized! We had a little mixup where somebody had a wedding planned for 30 minutes before. There was a scheduling issue. But luckily we got it all worked out and it went great! He was confirmed on Sunday and doing awesome! I hope you all had a great thanksgiving! We spent thanksgiving with an awesome family and had a really good time and they took good care of us. We have transfers tomorrow and I am being transferred to Windsor Colorado. My time as a zone leader is over and I will be a district leader down in Windsor. It will be good! I will be serving in our mission presidents ward so that will be interesting!
This week I really had to realize how much gods hand is in the very aspect of our lives. We walked in a couple hours early to start getting things ready for Ian’s baptism and there was a wedding taking place. And of course they were in the room that we needed. And I was freaking out. There was family in town and lots of ward support as well. So we talked to the people and they said they could be out and done with their ceremony by 7:30. So we pushed the baptism back which wasn't a big deal. But I was worried about the huge speakers they had in the gym. But low and behold, the baptism started, and everything went smoothly! We didn’t even hear the wedding taking place. It was a very low key wedding and made it so it wasn’t distracting. There’s no doubt in my mind that for one reason or another, god had a hand in the process of everything. I don’t know what it was or how big it was, but it was a testimony builder for me that his work will move forward. There’s nothing that will stop the work from progressing.
