Hey everyone!
Well I don’t have a whole lot more to report. We are working with just about the same people. We did meet a lady named Glenda who is super solid! She is probably the most sincere person I’ve ever met. She really just wants to do what god wants her to do. Which is great! She’s willing to meet with us and read the Book of Mormon and all that good stuff. We also met another guy named mark who is super cool! He’s never heard of missionaries before or the Book of Mormon. He’s headed out of town for a few weeks though so we won’t see him for a while. Ian is doing great though! He’s right on track for November 24th! Hopefully everything goes well. We went down to Windsor on Friday for a meeting that was forever long! It started at 9 and didn’t end til like 4. Not as bad as Sunday though where we started with meetings and went until 4. That was a very long day.
The spiritual thought I want to share this week, is about enduring. There’s a girl in the ysa ward who we’ve been working with for like 2 months about prayer. She hit a rough spot where she didn’t feel like anyone was listening and that god wouldn’t answer her prayers. But this last week while we were meeting with her, she told us about her experience where she finally felt like somebody was listening! We were all so excited and happy for her! And she was so happy as well! I know that god answers prayer! Sometimes it just takes a while. But it’s only for our benefit! It helps us learn and grow and exercise our faith. And then we can help people who are going through the thing we’ve gone through. So don’t be afraid to wait! And keep an open mind about how your prayers can be answered! The lord works in mysterious ways! I love you guys!
