The Atonement
Hey everybody! Transfers are here again. We didn’t think anything was going to happen with us but quite the opposite! Elder underwood is headed down to Greeley Colorado and I am getting a new companion. We will also be getting a new missionary as well! So it will be an Interesting transfer. I wish I could say that a lot happened this week but unfortunately we were stuck doing a lot of administrative stuff getting ready for transfers and getting some things situated with some missionaries.
But one thing I do want to talk about is the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I have definitely grown a testimony of the Atonement of Jesus Christ while I’ve been on my mission. The sacrament has a whole new meaning to me now. In 2 Nephi it says:
6 Wherefore, redemption cometh in and through the Holy Messiah; for he is full of grace and truth.
7 Behold, he offereth himself a sacrifice for sin, to answer the ends of the law, unto all those who have a broken heart and a contrite spirit; and unto none else can the ends of the law be answered
I love this scripture and know it to be true. The Atonement of Jesus Christ offers us peace in this life and forgiveness of sins. I know christs Atonement covers anything and everything and can help see us through times of trial and struggle. You are loved by your father in heaven! Jesus Christ can help with anything you are going through in your life. I love you all and hope you have a great week!
