Elder Call

Second week

Subject: Second week

I'll start off by saying I love all of you so much, I am so grateful for the opportunity I have right now to bring both myself, and others unto Christ.  I really want to hear how you are all doing so send me a note! I will try to answer as quick as I can!
Kinda a weird random fact but we have only had about 7 or 8 missionaries from my group of 600 go home. I'm pretty impressed with that. This place is hard but it shows how tough some of these elders and sisters are.
Really there isn't much to talk about here. haha Its the same long day over and over again. I'm lucky though, I still haven't lost my mind like some of the missionaries who have been here 7 to 9 weeks. You find those elders in the corners just staring at walls and stuff. freaky.
The language is very frustrating. Its so hard to know what you want to say but lack the vocabulary to express it. We are constantly teaching "investigators" and its awkward but I can tell its working. The rate that you learn the language here is pretty incredible. Two weeks ago i could barely say hello. Now I can actually read and pronounce words on the BoM. Patience is definitely a characteristic you really appreciate here.
I think about everyone who gets this email. I miss you but I know you are all doing awesome.

The pictures below are of me and my district.  The guy I'm with in the third picture with the temple words is my companion Elder Call.  The one where I'm touching the window - is me wishing for freedom (we spend about 9 hours in that little room)
