Elder Torres

Jochi Pintado

This week I had the SUPER lucky blessing to be able to fly up to my last 2 areas for a couple of days. Elder Torres goes home in 2 weeks and never served in the jungle, so I called up some members, and we showed him right. Motos, manual labor haha, and of course wild meat. Go look up jochi pintado.

We also got to have a noche de hogar with Elena Hidalgo and her family! Best night ever! This Friday she'll get married and Saturday is her baptism. Keep her in your prayers!

It was really touching when she shared her appreciation for learning the gospel. She shared about some big trials she's faced. That it didn't seem like there was an answer. Then she met the missionaries! She said that as she came to know us and learn about the gospel, the Book of Mormon, and the Savior, slowly the path started to appear. Slowly answers started coming and life was getting better. Many of the trials are still there! But by following the example of Jesus Christ there really is a peace that passes all understanding!!

Que tengan un día bendecido!
