Motos Motos Motos

Holaaaa!! Fun fact, so here in Beni there are very very few cars. Everything is motorcycles. It is incredible how many people, plastic chairs, and bed mattresses these people can fit on one moto! I'll never understand how...

With all these motos, we're bound to get lost eventually anddd well it happened to me this week! We were heading to a service project in a different area. I'd never been to the area, so I had no clue where we were going. My moto had to stop for gas, and we lost track of the other elders. I got to know the moto driver pretty well. His name is Diego. It took about 45 minutes for them to find us BUT it actually turned out to be a powerful experience. The investigators that we did the service for offered a prayer with the other elders, and 5 minutes afterwards they found me! Now they are witnesses of the power of prayer! Kinda fun!

This week I had the opportunity to interview an 11 year old girl, Fanny, for her baptism. Her mom, who's not a member, joined us. It was a super spiritual discussion! It was fun because I interviewed Fanny while teaching her mom at the same time. I had the chance to testify to Fanny of the importance of the commandments. That they show us the love that God has for us. That they are guidance from our Heavenly Father, who knows us perfectly. That when we choose to follow, we will ALWAYS be "blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual." And that they are the way to "a state of never-ending happiness." (Mosiah 2:41) Never ending happiness!!!

I challenge y'all to ponder on how you've been blessed and protected by keeping the commandments of God!

Que tengan un día bendecido!
