4th Mission Assignment - Los Pinos

Elder McCausland

Exploring the Rivers, Woods, and Mountains Around San Juan - - and those in life as well.

...First things first in Elder Bigley's Mission-update: Last P-day was plain awesome! Our trio of Missionaries and another companionship of Elders went with a few of the young single adults of my ward (Sebastian Frias and Walter Alcaraz, whom keep bugging me about how Bella's a traitor cause she won't accept their friend requests on Facebook... ¡Dale loca! Te están esperando para mandar fotos geniales de nuestros aventuras... A visual journal of our explorations in and around the wilderness of San Juan, running up and down hills and through valleys, trekking through forests, and crossing precarious rivers and waterfalls and generally having a grand adventure. To top it all off, we drank some Mate' which is the weird, bittersweet, herbal tea that everyone drinks here in Argentina... The best way to cap off a successful P-day... Pictures to follow...
Wednesday to Friday were relatively uneventful. We worked a lot on Service Projects and walked a lot. It's been a little hectic recently now that we're in a trio. We've been having to manage an area that previously had 2 companionships of Missionaries, but now we've got it all which means a lot of investigators and a lot of different areas... Needless to say, we've been doing a lot of juggling between the three of us recently.
And that brings us to the crowning event of the week which happened to be General Conference! The talks and messages, and the spirit present, and even the exceptional music were all so very uplifting, inspiring, and remarkable. We here in the Mission field will all be looking forward to studying and dissecting all of the spiritually significant content that we were given in this General Conference-- at least I have a lot of Conference talk-downloading to do.
Other than that, it's been a pretty great week! Not a whole lot on our horizon for this upcoming week yet... Basically our P-day today will be filled with futbol and a smashing good time.
I love you all, and I hope that you will all keep God very close, and very dear to your hearts. I love this work, and I'm proud to be one of the Missionaries in the Lord's kingdom. Hasta la proxima, y con mucho amor!
