My comp and I got soaked this week with rain that seemed to only come in the dark hours, leaving us wet and shivering. The good thing though, people take pity on miserable looking boys and let us into their houses to give us boiling water to drink. As you wait for the water to cool, you have ample time to share a lesson with them. The Lord leads us to his people in mysterious ways:)
We tried something new for English class this week. We teach the advanced class and we usually use a poster to teach basic phrases and stuff. BUT that's boring, and you can't teach people the Gospel at the same time. So, we just threw the English portion and spiritual share bit all in one and taught English from Elder Renlund’s past general conference talk. The students loved it! One especially was super curious in the Plan of Salvation and was asking bunches of questions. Well, it turns out she used to meet with the Elders but didn't have interest anymore... well now she does. Miracles!
