This week marked the last week with President and Sister Teh in Taiwan. They have left a lasting impact on this mission and me as a person. Fortunately we were able to see him twice this week, first at zone conference and than at stake conference.
At zone conferences, the highlight is always the departing missionaries’ remarks and what advice they want to give us learned from their personal experiences. Elder Miller, who is actually leaving tomorrow, talked about just always learning! Sometimes I feel like I plateau and my knowledge is enough, but as I keep learning I am amazed and feel Heavenly Father can trust me more.
President Teh left a simple message with us, trust the guidance of the new mission president and his wife. They are called of God.
Elder Meurs of the Seventy spoke about his personal experience with his family being the first people to join the church in their town in Australia and then talked about how the Atonement of Jesus Christ surpasses just forgiving our sins but also our accidental mistakes. It covers everything! and it is able to bring us peace at any point in our lives.
I love our Savior, Jesus Christ. He is who gives us life and the hope of life after death.
