Why is it so cold? It's okay, it's gonna get cold here this week too, windchill in the low 60s. Maybe I’ll wear a thicker tie.
These past few weeks lots has taken place—Christmas to New Year's to a new area with a new companion. Coming up on the season, the spirit just did not click right away. It felt weird being somewhere where the whole concept of Christmas is the commercialized aspect brought from the store windows. It was all changed though. Through the members we were able to connect and share with each other what really means the most to us, that being our Savior. This momentum has really been carried forth through the New Year helping us start 2018 right! We have been sharing with members recently things they can do to help in the missionary work. We used Elder Oaks’ talk from October 2016 "Sharing the Restored Gospel”. It has laid out some things that members can do, with the 3 main points being 1. Praying for a desire to share the Gospel 2. Being worthy to have the spirit by living our lives accordingly and 3. Praying not just for the ward missionaries to have opportunities to teach, but pray for personal opportunities! I really see how as we continue to work with the members, we will undoubtedly see countless miracles. What can you do?
I love being here in Taiwan and sharing the flawless message!
