This week was the last week of my 12 week training! It’s bitter sweet, but it’s time to keep moving forward. We had a baptism this week for Mr. Wang. He is so solid and has such a strong testimony about every aspect of the gospel. The night before, we went to some members’ houses to invite them to the baptism. One old member gave us some tea which we found out was green tea so Elder Brooks and I decided to have a little Boston Tea Party and pore it out into the street drain.
We had a 16 year old priest in our ward baptize him, which was such a cool experience for him. They had to do the baptism 5 times because his arm kept popping out of the water, but he did it eventually! He bore his testimony after and related that to enduring to the end. Sometimes life is hard and we just have to persist, but we know that there is always a great reward in it for us at the end!
The church is so true! Cherish it!
Mason got a new companion today. Elder Wightman from Danville, CA.
