Family and Friends
Well I left Pilar! I´m sad but I guess it is what it is. I'm in an area in another stake that´s neighboring my old one. San Miguel in Sarmiento. It´s smaller than Pilar but I think it has good potential. The ward has good leaders. We have to work hard to gain their trust though because they´ve had a long run with not-so-great missionaries.
I had an experience with a member just yesterday that showed me this.... But that´s a story for another time. I´m going to work to get them to trust us more. We don´t have a lot of potentials right now so the search is on. We´ll see where it goes. My comp is Elder Mauricio from Peru, who I´ve already been with back in Pilar. He was in the other area and we were in a trio for 2 weeks together, so we´re already familiar with each other and all. He´s a good guy that likes to work, so i think we´ll turn things around a little this transfer. It´s not the most fun of things to have to learn an area but I´ll get there. I´ve found I like directing the area because I always can find a less active that might have unbaptized family members or older investigators, but I guess I´ll just have to get to know the place for now. We´ll find some baptisms soon. We live on the 11th floor of a building so i´ll send some pics of my nice view!
QOTW: I´ve heard there are troubles of more than one kind
Some come from ahead, some come from behind
But I´ve bought a big bat; I´m all ready you see
Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!-
Love you all!
PS: I´m back to trying to explain how to pronounce my name:(
